Pina was born and raised in Milan. In the ’80s, after she graduated in languages and piano, she jumped into the fashion world thanks to Franca Sozzani in Condé Nast. Over the course of her career, due to her passion and interest in fashion, textiles, and photography, she has specialized the creative research and image setting of headings. She collaborated with leading international photographers and art directors well known in the fashion industry, sharing strategic plans and editorial policies for journalistic publications.
She worked for Amica, Lei, Vogue kids, and Donna as fashion and editorial covers editor.
At the beginning of the 90s, she has been the creative director of Barbara Falanga agency. Then she collaborated with Donna, Mondo Uomo, and Donna & Bambini, making it to Anna (later A) where she worked as chief editor for fashion. After 20 years, she moved back to Condé Nast as fashion director of Myself magazine and since 2015 she has been a contributing editor for the creation of national and international fashion and special services for Glamour, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, and other well-known magazines.
Now she lives between Milan and Ibiza.
